10 & 11th June 2017: Create your own voice/ Food Photography & Styling in Paris

Learn how to master your own food photography during a 2 day hands-on workshop, taught by food photographers and food writers @sliceofpai, @thepineapplechef and @evainthekitchen.

When?

Our 2-days hands-on workshop will take place on Saturday June 10 and Sunday June 11.

Where?
In Paris! Our location is a beautiful Haussmannian apartment in le Marais (and yes, those pretty pictures are of our workshop location!). Paris is absolutely gorgeous in spring and markets are bustling with fresh produce from the French countryside.

What will you learn?

We’ll cover food photography, food styling and how to create gif’s, stop motions and cinemagraphs.

You’ll learn how to cook for the camera, so that your food looks its absolute best, and how to create different moods to find the perfect style that fits your voice. We’ll also cover how to work with natural light and how to use the right props to help visually strengthen your story. In addition to that, we’ll show you how to set up a shoot in your own home, and how you can transform your living room into a temporary studio with just a few simple tricks.

You don’t need crazy equipment to make a beautifully styled image, you’ll see!

After we’ve taught you how to set up different moods and you’ve taken plenty of pics to practice, we’ll guide you through the editing process in Lightroom. After the weekend, you’ll have a portfolio of new pictures to use and the knowledge how to set up your own shoots to create the mood and image (or moving image) you want.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”full_width” text_align=”left” video=”” css_animation=”” box_shadow_on_row=”no”][vc_column][vc_empty_space image_repeat=”no-repeat”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”full_width” text_align=”left” video=”” css_animation=”” box_shadow_on_row=”no”][vc_column][vc_column_text]Who is this workshop for?
Anyone with an interest in food photography. Whether you’re a blogger, food writer, restaurant owner or photographer searching to expand your knowledge. A DSLR camera is recommended, but you can also participate with a point and shoot camera (or even an iPhone).

Our partners

During the workshop we’ll use high quality products and props from our fantastic partners: handmade ceramics by Parisian artists Malo Atelier, Arielle de Gasquet and Judith Lasry, the best wines from Château de Malle and Château de Pessan, beautiful flowers from Pedro Domingues and the world famous pastries from Pierre Hermé.

Other practical information
We’ll teach in English and French, but we also speak Mandarin, Spanish and Dutch.

Because we want this workshop to be very practical and have enough time to guide and help each of you individually, we only take a limited number of participants.

Price and reservation
The costs for the two day workshop are 750 euro, and you can reserve your spot by sending us a message.
