Grilled Shrimps, Lime, Cilantro & Peanuts

Long weekends are always ideal to start cooking new recipes. This one is really easy to make and you only need fresh and organic shrimps that you can buy at your local fishmonger, as well as simple ingredients for the marinade.Ingredients:

  • approx. 30 fresh and organic shrimps (peeled but keep the tail)
  • 3 big lime
  • 4 tbsp Nuoc Mam
  • 1 tbsp cane sugar
  • 4 tbsp neutral vegetable oil (grapeseed oil for example)
  • 1 cup roasted peanuts, chopped roughly
  • 1 cup chopped coriander
  • salt and pepper

Recipe:

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F
  2. On an oven dish covered with baking paper, display the shrimps
  3. With a brush, cover both sides of the shrimps with some oil
  4. Prepare the sauce by mixing the Nuoc Mam, the sugar, the lime juice, the oil and pour the sauce on the shrimps
  5. Once cooked (about 15 min), sprinkle with the peanuts and the fresh coriander
  6. Salt and pepper to taste before serving
