Quinoa, Radish, Cucumber, Lemon & Mint Salad, Sesame Sauce

I’ve made 3 salads this week with quinoa and here’s the third one ! I had the idea when I saw those amazing and colorful radishes at my local market; some yellow, some pink and even some purple ones like little gems and jewels… With cucumber, lemon, mint and a sesame sauce…delicious! Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup white quinoa
  • 1/2 cup red quinoa
  • 1 peeled cucumber, seedless and diced
  • 1 cup radishes, washed and cleaned
  • 1 handful mint leaves, chopped
  • the zest of half a lemon
  • salt and pepper

For the sauce:

  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp cane sugar
  • 4 tbsp tamari
  • 2 1/2 tbsp tahini
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil


  1. Cook the quinoas in cold salted water till tender. Drain and set aside
  2. Slice thinly some radishes and keep some whole for the salad
  3. Prepare the sauce by mixing all the ingredients
  4. Mix the quinoas with the other elements of the salad ad top with some sauce
  5. Season to taste
