SCHEDULE:
9:00 AM to 10:00 AM : Introductions, round table, coffee and refreshments
10:00 AM to 11:00 AM: Photography: Basic camera settings
- Why shoot in manual and raw
- The importance of shutter speed, aperture, and ISO.
- Using natural light to create your desired effect
- Lens: which lens achieves certain moods/looks
- food styling and plating
11:00 AM to 11:45 AM: Styling and how to tell a visual story
– Demos with various props, botanicals and ingredients etc.
-The method and theory behind what makes an aesthetically pleasing image
-Angles, use of negative space, depth of subject, props…etc

11:45 AM to 12:30 PM: Breakout: participants will breakout and take photos of the demos
Ros and Elise to assist and answer questions of participants

12:00 AM Noon to 2:00 PM: Lunch

2:00 PM to 2:45 PM Second Styling & Visual session

2:45 PM to 4PM: Breakout:
– Participants to set up and style their own visual story/scene
– Ros and Elise to assist and answer questions of participants

4PM to 5 PM: Adobe Lightroom:
-Learn what and how to use the modules
-Some hacks and tips to elevating your photo
/
5 PM to 5:45 PM Social media:
-Navigating Instagram: gaining followers, hashtags…
-Using Pinterest and Facebook to draw attention to your webpage.

5:45 PM to 6 PM Time to say goodbye…
What Should I bring?
-Your DSLR camera and lens or smartphone
-Tripod (optional)
-Camera Battery (fully charged)
-SD card (recommend minimum 8-16 GB)
-Laptop (fully charged with Lightroom already installed and for Smartphone users, the app installed onto phone)
-We will be provided hand out sheets with summaries of our instruction, please feel free to bring a notebook and pen to make your own notes

Terms and Conditions:
350 Euros + fees incurred when transferring (usually under 10 Euros) Workshop must be paid in full to reserve your spot.
Bookings are non-refundable unless you are able to find someone to take your place.
Not included: Travel and accommodations
In the rare event this course does not fully book, we reserve the right to cancel this workshop. We will however, provide a full refund for the workshop cost only. Any and all other costs incurred will not be compensated.
