Parsnip Fries, Thyme & Honey

You can still find parsnips on market stalls, you should definitely taste its flavor, I would say between the carrot and the celeriac. And moreover, why not taste it for an aperitivo with all the other next recipes on this blog? Yum…Ingredients:

  • 3 large parsnips, peeled and cut into sticks
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Guérande salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 2 tbsp fresh thyme
  • 1 ½ tbsp honey


  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F
  2. In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients and toss the parsnips so they are well ‘covered’ with honey, thyme etc…
  3. Display them on a baking tray covered with baking paper
  4. Let them bake till the fries are golden. Do not forget to flip them so both sides are golden
